Infynites I's and Eyes Meditation: Why Knowing How To Be Attentive Can Change Your Life?

Why Knowing How To Be Attentive Can Change Your Life?

Let's go deeper!

Hello beautiful people, and welcome to today's meditation session. Let us today inquire about something significant and exciting for most people.

How can we nourish this intention? How can we stay in that beautiful state of awareness and be constantly attentive? Let's find out together.

To understand this question, we have to first ask ourselves what this state of attention is and what concentration is. To fully understand this place that we are talking about, we have rather watch outside when we are attentive.

To start, let us watch everything. Let's say you are sitting in a room watching tv or listening to music. You may hear some noise in the background, and are you aware of that. You may listen to the ticking clock on the wall. Are you aware of a clock clicking on a wall? Are you aware of everything that is around you happening? When you are aware now, you can see that you're also attentive. But what does it mean to be attentive?

The word attentive means to attend. To be here, to be in a presence. But if you are watching something outside, as we stated, what are you watching, and who is watching that?

Let's take the step from the outside and be also aware of that what is inside. Let's say you see a beautiful tree. Are you just aware of it by choices, or you already have thoughts in your head? Can you watch and observe these thoughts in your head too?

While you are watching that tree and you think it's a beautiful tree. It's an oak tree, oh why is it not so green now? Is it because it's winter and yada yada with a lot of words?

On the other hand, what is attention?

If you are there, you're watching outside and inside. You are being aware of everything that's happening around you with all the senses at the same time but without the centre. Now, let us ask ourselves what concentration is when talking about this centre and the difference between attention and concentration.

For the concentration to be working, you have to shut down everything else and only focus on what you want to know. Let's say you want to read a text message. While you're reading the text message but in the middle of it, your eyes wander through a window, and you're looking at beautiful sunshine. Then you start asking yourself, is it in winter? You see that snow falling, and you ask yourself, oh, that's why is it snowing. The weather is so lovely. The moment you do that small inner voices chatting to yourself, you have not focused anymore.

Let us also look inside for the concentration. You have first to watch and include only that what you want to see. Everything else is not included inside. What's the difference between concentration and attention?

If you want to concentrate on yourself, you have to have a centre. When you are trying to have a centre, that is trying to concentrate. Can you see where I'm going with this?

To concentrate, you have to have a centre and an object you want yourself to be focused on. It would help if you had a centre, the observer and the observed. You need to include only that, and you need to control it. So, you need the one who is controlling and that which is being controlled. That is concentration. That is what we have learned all our life to do.

But the opposite of that is attention. To be attentive. When you are attentive, you are allowing everything. Let's say you're lying in a beautiful field, and you hear the sounds of birds outside. You may even notice that the sun is out there, and you are watching and feeling everything. You are not trying to think.

But if the thought comes, you allow it, you see it, it comes and passes. The thought is part of you as the observer and the observed. But when you let everything, you are just there, listening completely. You are attentive.

Now, are you listening completely, or are you thinking in your head? Watch it, and see. Are you attentive? How to nourish this intention?

As we said before, the one who is trying to be attentive comes from concentration. If you are trying to be attentive, you are already concentrating. You are not attentive. To be attentive, you have to let go of everything or allow everything. It is so easy to do it. You do it all the time when you're watching something beautiful and when you're genuinely listening to someone, you want to hear what this person's saying to you. Then you are entirely attentive. You don't have to stay in that state forever.

It is only the person, only the centre, that wants to stay in that state forever. Just let go of everything, and you will be attentive. You will be aware. You are pure conscious when you are attentive completely. Be attentive and allow everything to happen without wanting to change anything.

Thank you, beautiful people, for being with me on today's meditation. I hope you can implement this in your life and you will see the results. Try it for yourself. Watch it without wanting to change anything.

As always, stay healthy and until next time. Infinite love to all of you people, and don't forget that you are your infinite I's and eyes.

Sadhguru's Guide to Why Is There Suffering on The World?

Why Is There Suffering? All the misery and suffering in this world are the result of a lack of understanding. All suffering is automatic because of not being able to see the truth. If you ask a burnt person why he burned himself, he will tell you that it was his fault, not his deliberate intention. In the same way, all suffering results from the same mistakes. All suffering is the result of our errors. When those mistakes are over, your job is done.   Are we suffering from the consequences of our actions? Yes, it is all because of our actions' consequences, and that is why our mistakes are our own and no one else's cause.   In this world, no one else is at fault. Mistakes are 'tools' in bringing consequences to our actions. Suffering is yours, but it comes in the way of others. How can you blame the person who sent the news about your son's death? Seeing someone else's fault is no different from finding a spot with someone who sent you a message of your son'...

One Thing That Won't Happen in Lying, Stealing, or Dishonesty.

What Are the Fruits of Lying, Stealing, or Dishonesty? Why do you think people lie for no reason? They did all of this because of their anger, pride, deceit, and envy. People do it because they want to gain something. They may do this because they want respect, money, or something else. They may be scared or have some hidden fears so that they will lie.   People have deep inner fears and they are reluctant to ask: 'What will people say to me?' Then they start to lie, until they lie even when they are not afraid.   This lying is because all these people are experiencing the effects of their actions on their past actions. Those who lie in their past lives suffer today—those who speak the truth and enjoy the fruits of their labours. By lying in this life, One will face the consequences in the next life. If you tell the truth, it will bear fruit. In their modern life, people see the fruits of their past actions. Everything that happens is pure justice: There are nothing and no jus...

How Not Knowing Where Is God Makes You a Rookie?

Where Is God? Where does God live in this great world? • Where is the house of God?          • Is it in heaven?          • In the sky?          • In the temple?          • In our hearts?          • Or elsewhere?          Not knowing the exact address of God, we keep thinking about him here and there.   Where is God? "God is in every creature, whether visible or invisible. God is in the creature, not in creation." There are tiny creatures that cannot be seen even under a microscope. God lives in all creatures! However, there is no God on the sofa, table, camera, lamp, or radio as all of these are human-made creations. God does not dwell in anything that man has made, but He does exist in living beings, that is, one-sensory creatures, two-sensory creatures, birds, plants, trees, animals, human beings, and so on. What we see on the outsi...
