Why Do People Have Fear?
All human beings of this age are considered to have no dependence or
protection. Animals are considered to be reliable, but humans do not have
anyone to rely on. Even if you find someone you can count on, he or she does
not have the right person to rely on, so how can he or she help you?
Let me explain what I mean by distrust:
A rich man, a priest, and his dog were travelling. They found a dense
jungle, and in the wilderness, they met four robbers with guns and swords.
What effect does this event have on each of them?
The rich man is worried about what will happen to him if the robbers
took away a sum of ten thousand dollars. He also fears what will happen to him
if they kill him.
The priest feels that he has nothing to lose but his pot of water, but
he is worried about who will take care of him if the robbers break his leg and
what will happen if he becomes disabled for the rest of his life.
On the other hand, the dog will bark at the robbers, and if one of them
hits it, it will bark a few times and look for its owner. The dog is not
worried about what will happen to him because it is dependable, and the others
do not have anything or anyone to rely on.
As long as you're not enlightened, there's nothing you can trust or rely
upon. And the One who has been spiritually educated will give you the strength
to rely on. The enlightened One becomes the One you can count on.
Once you are blessed with the knowledge of self-realization, you will
never have to worry about what you will become under all circumstances.
What causes fear?
When we read about floods and other tragedies in newspapers, social
media, and TV, we are disturbed. If such stories did not affect us at all,
would we be considered ruthless?
Being unaffected by terrible news is called being enlightened by the
truth. And if that affects you, or does it bother you? That's called intellect
knowledge. That's what the life of the world inspires, the intellect knowing.
Intellect is useless. It makes you sympathetic, only.
Empathy is an evil and unnecessary thing for a person. Empathy is the
root of all human problems. The more One can explain what empathy means, and
the more One can avoid it, the more One lives free and understands worldly
life.
To put it briefly, empathy is the state of combining One's desires with
natural ones. The combination of the two produces a sense of empathy.
[Expectations + Reality = Emotions]
During the war, people were afraid of being killed by weapons. Such fear
is rooted in their intellectual knowledge. The mind is the cause of this
worldly life. The right information will keep you calm and relaxed despite the
bad news.
You must be the 'Knower' and the 'Seer' of everything that happens
around you. You have to 'know', and you have to 'see'. That is all. It would
help if you were 'the Master' of everything you read. That's called Enlightened
being, and you must be a 'Seer' of news headlines. No one is wrong about this.
Who is at fault, the perpetrator or abuser?
Every day you read about theft and various
other cases in newspapers and on social media, but you should not worry or be
bothered. Thoughts and worries about whether that will happen to you are
mistaken, and these are the mistakes that bind you.
Instead, why not just sit back and relax? You will only be held
accountable for the consequences of your actions. If it is not the result of
your efforts, then no one in this world can touch you, so do not be afraid.
Newspapers, social media can write anything, but you should not be
afraid of the news. It should not bother you even if thousands of people have
been robbed.
No one has power over you. If you are being robbed in the unlikely event, all you need to do is ask yourself who is suffering and move on.
The world is not meant to be miserable, and it is designed to be happy.
People get what they deserve because of the consequences of their actions. Why
are some people happy while others are suffering? It is because people bring
about the consequences of their actions.
People should write this sentence in big letters on their walls in their
homes to be reminded of who is at fault whenever they suffer.
'The Fault Is
For The Sufferer'
If a person remembers this sentence for the rest of his life and applies
it to his life circumstances with the proper understanding, one would not need
a doctor and preaching. Only these words will take him to the ultimate freedom.
