Infynites I's and Eyes Meditation: Warning: You're Losing the Self by Not Being Attentive To Have Amazing Life.
Warning: You're Losing the Self by Not Being Attentive To Have Amazing Life.
Let's go deeper: So beautiful people, we all want to understand what is like to concentrate and what it's like to be attentive. So, to know that, we have to go deep inside of us. Even if we don't know what attention is, we already have been attentive so often, every time we are listening to something meaningful. If the attention is allowed to everything, then what is the concentration when somebody says to try to concentrate on that thing. That thing particular.
What does it mean for you? It means to "let us" look inside the centre. To say "I am somebody", or "something" has to be concentrated on it at that moment. So why do you create the centre? You make the ego throughout your life while your brain stores the information, and this information start to think that it's an individual. And then, from that pure awareness watching, you get the feeling that the eye exists and that this eye is some centre now.
If you are told to concentrate, so you think the eye centre had to exclude everything from attention and concentrate on only one thing. If you want to study, for example, you have to exclude the birds' sounds outside. You have to exclude the noises. You have to exclude pain if you have pain in your leg or somewhere. Just be concentrated entirely on that particular thing, exclude everything, allow only one thing, which is studying.
That is concentration, it can be helpful, but concentration is not so useful for most of our life. What is more useful is attention; for example, let us retake learning as the first example. You have to learn something, and you want to be attentive.
How do you become attentive? First of all, you have to deny the centre. Well, unfortunately, you cannot deny it; you can watch it, observe it, and let it go. How do you let it go? By just trying to use all of your senses at once. You will see that the centre wants to go from one sense to the other sense. You cannot use two senses at once, but if you let go of that centre, you may want to move from seeing to hearing and hearing to feel cold or warm.
You can see that you already can feel everything. All the senses are functioning normally, and you are already attentive. It would be best if you let them go. So, what you have to do is to be aware. So, look, you cannot practice awareness. You can only be aware.
How do you become aware? You ask yourself. Will you do it? So many times, you are doing something and puff, all at the suddenly. You are conscious because we live this shadow life. We only used to be aware when there is a danger. When there is a problem, then you know, oh I have to act, oh I have to do that. But most of our time we are sleeping. We are walking and sleeping, always thinking something like it is a dream.
You are never here, never now, never seeing what is happening around us. We are dreaming our life while we are awake. So, firstly, become aware of everything that is happening around you. Then let go of the centre. Let go of that which is trying to concentrate, or it is trying to be attentive. Just let it go; after you have done it, you will see that you are already there. There is no way for you to cross.
There is no time to pass. You are already attentive as you are. Attentive from awareness becomes the attention. You are already allowing everything. So, you want to learn something? You have to read and learn this. Try to learn and be attentive at the same time. As a centre, you always compare bigger, smaller, more sociable, uglier, better and so on. But with attention, there is no comparison. You are watching that with all your interest, with all of your attention.
So, you read the book but also allow everything. Allow the birds outside to tweet; let the children play and hear their sound from outside. Allow everything, and nothing will bother you because you are very attentive, and you will learn with ease. Your brain will learn very, very quickly. You will save so much time and so much frustration because you have to give an enormous energy to shut everything down when you want to concentrate.
But don't get me wrong, to be attentive, you have to keep all of your energy. And you keep that energy by letting go; then you gather all of your energy in one place. So, let's summarise: to be attentive, firstly, become aware. When you are aware, you do not have a centre. You allow everything you see. The thought is coming and passing. You see everything coming and passing.
You are only aware of everything; from this awareness comes the attention. The attention sees everything that is passing by. You are just allowing everything and seeing everything you have. Your whole energy at one place, and you are completely there. When you want to concentrate, you have to use all of your energy to exclude other things, so you're left with a tiny percentage of energy that you have to learn and think.
So, it's tough for you to focus and learn when you want to be concentrated 100 per cent because you have to exclude everything. You have to have a centre and be entirely there and see what is happening just with that one thing. Everything else must be shut down. So, try it for yourself as always, try to be in a concentrated mode. See how much you use your energy, see how your mind wanders about, and you have to use your power to get it back to that which you are learning and also be attentive.
Be aware and then practice attention, watch, observe, see, see when the thought comes to you. Follow it, but, you're just looking at it, you don't go with it. You see it, observe it, and then let it go. And everything comes by and goes by, and you are quickly doing the task you want to do.
As always, use this information in your life. Apply in your life, and you will see the difference. If you only just read it one time and say it's exciting and forget about it, it doesn't bring you anything. So, you have to do the actual work. This essential work means letting everything go because there is no becoming. There is only letting everything go and allow everything to happen.
You are your Infinite I's and eyes.
Infinite love to you, and until next time, stay healthy and see you in the following meditation session.
