Is It Possible to Choose What To Do?
Do you find yourself forced to do something that goes against your
wishes? Is that possible or not? You do not wish, but you have no choice. It is
the result of your actions in your past life.
People believe that this effect is a factor. They do not understand at
all that it is the result of a previous life. If what you have done in this
life has been the cause, why are you doing something against your will? Plus,
why do you say, "I did it," when you didn't want to do it in the
first place? And why do some people say that you did it?
People call all actions which seem to be the same by doing the results
of their efforts. They will say, "I have done a good deed today, so I have
built the results of my good deeds today." The enlightened being knew that
all the material things of this life are the result of past deeds.
No one sent you here on earth. It results from the actions that take you
to the place where your rebirth will take place. If the results of your actions
are reasonable, you will be born in a good place, and if wrong, you will be
held in a bad place.

these people get married for the sake of happiness, but then people become sad inside. That is because it is not under human control that you are happy or sad. It depends on the effect of past actions. Man has no choice.
One has to be patient.
- There
is a big difference between 'actions to be done and 'ongoing actions'. You
may accomplish future actions and the outcome of your actions. But do not
plan on actions that do not come as a result of your actions, saying 'this
action must be done; we have to do it this way only ', otherwise the same
action will come as a result in the next life; the consequences of your
actions will be paid.
Is the result of your actions tied to internal efforts?
Does the result of your actions apply only to people? Yes, people do
nothing but bind the consequences of their actions regularly. The human
condition is such that even though we do not eat, drink, or do any other things
in the world's life, we still retain the idea of being the creator of all
these things, which is why we are responsible for our actions.
The result of your actions is the ignorance that says, "I do."
Isn't that amazing? It can be proved that you do not know yourself spiritually;
self-consciousness does not eat, drink, or do anything. It can also be proven
that even though it does nothing, it binds the result of your actions. The
consequences of their actions bind people.
One does not see the consequences of his actions being bound. People, in
general, think of the results of their actions as something tangible. They may
see someone who has hurt someone and say that this is how a person pays for the
consequences of his actions.
People believe that the consequences of their actions are external
activities that people do, such as eating, sleeping, beating someone, etc.
People call every effort the result of their actions. In reality, though, the
work they see is not the results of the conscious actions but their
self-centred actions.
Whenever the consequences of their actions are bound, there is internal
suffering. What does a child do when you give him a bitter medicine? It changes
faces! And if you give her excellent treatment, she will love it.
When people practice self-loathing, attachment to something, and hatred,
they plant the causes that lead to their new actions. You will have to find the
results of your actions that you like and those you do not like. Those you do
not love will leave you hurt, while those you love will leave you happy. The
causes created in your past life bring fruit to you, in this life.

by saying 'I am this body,' without realizing it, results from your actions. But anything done amazingly, as the Knower and the Seer, while you are still conscious of who you are, is not the result of your actions.
- The
enslavement of the consequences of your actions is based on self-identification. Without self-identification, binding the results of your actions does not depend on any activity. My 'I am-ness' and whatever is identified as mine are based on self-identity, which is the bondage of your actions' consequences. Where there is self-identity, that is your enslavement.
